Hearing Clinics in Paisley, Kilmarnock, East Kilbride & Arran
With over three decades of dedication to the healthcare industry, my journey began when I was just 15, working as a lab technician in the optical sector. By the age of 23, I took my first step into entrepreneurship, founding my own business specialising in the production of spectacle lenses.
In 2011, I partnered with an optometrist when then lead me to opening the. The Optical Factory partnership. Our commitment to providing exceptional customer service has earned us numerous accolades. In 2015, we expanded our services to include hearing care, which turned out to be a pivotal moment in my career.
It was during this time that I discovered my true passion helping people transform their lives through improved hearing. This realisation inspired me to pursue formal training in audiology, and in 2017, I proudly enrolled in Queen Margaret University’s audiology program.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I’m deeply committed to making a difference in developing nations. Since 2010, I have been involved in Sight Aid International, an organisation I co-founded to provide eye care services to children in need. After graduating as an audiologist in June 2020 my mission was to take hearing care to Kenya with plans to distribute hearing aids. So far, we have conducted 2 hearing care camps, and we have tested and helped 58 people and fitted 43 pairs of hearing aids in the recent camp.
This humanitarian work has been a deeply fulfilling experience and led to a great honour—being selected as one of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Bearers.
On the personal side, I’m the proud father of three boys: Benjamin, Jackson and Ezra, who currently keeps me the busiest of all! On the side when I have some time to myself, I am a keen oil painter. My mission has always been to improve people’s quality of life, whether that being on a sight or hearing nature. I believe these values are instilled in the business I operate.
Over the years the business has expanded, and in July 2024 we open Paisley Hearing Care we are extremely proud to be part of the Paisley community, and the business has been well received and we look forward to supporting the local community.
